How we are contributing
Climate change is the most imminent threat challenging humanity and all other life forms on this planet. It is affecting lives and disrupting economies. People are experiencing significant impacts of climate change, which include changing weather patterns, rising sea level, and more extreme weather events.
Solar is a renewable resource and a great way to reduce our carbon footprint. A typical small rooftop solar system can eliminate three to four tons of carbon emissions every year—the equivalent of planting over 100 trees annually. Over its typical lifecycle of 25-30 years it could mean reduced carbon emissions of over 100 tons.

It is easy to see why industries and businesses are eager to explore alternative energy sources compelling manufacturers and corporations to seek another, more sustainable route. Our role is to accelerate this change by reshaping the energy system, improving resource efficiency and providing smart sustainable solutions.

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are important components of an organization’s culture and values. Increasingly, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding businesses that choose to operate responsibly. We see sustainable energy solutions as today’s competitive advantage and a prerequisite for business' growth and success.

We strive to continuously reduce the environmental impact of our operations while serving our customers and reliably fulfilling their energy needs. We have made it our mission to engage our customers and society at large to help us drive this change towards zero-emission energy systems with environmentally friendly products and services.
What are the global sustainable development goals?
According to United Nations, the sustainable development goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 Goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve them all by 2030.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted in September 2015 as a part of the resolution, ‘Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development’. India is committed to achieve the 17 SDGs and the 169 associated targets, which comprehensively cover social, economic and environmental dimensions of development and focus on ending poverty in all its forms and dimensions. At the Central Government level, NITI Aayog has been assigned the role of overseeing the implementation of SDGs in the country.
